SystemsGo is announcing a grant from The Boeing Company that will discount Teacher Training Fees and Annual Curriculum Licensing Fees for two years, beginning in Academic Year 2019-2020! SystemsGo offers an exciting four-year Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) curriculum that is endorsed by NASA and meets the Texas Education Agency’s requirements for a STEM endorsement for graduation. This program, now in our 23rd year, offers a project-based curriculum using rocketry as the hands-on application to apply skills taught in the classroom. You may be familiar with SystemsGo, as we currently have our program in fifty-eight schools across Texas!

The Boeing grant will offset the standard curriculum licensing fees and teacher training fees by 50% over two years as the program gets fully implemented beginning in the 2019-2020 school year. This is accomplished by schools starting the Freshman and Junior curriculum in year one, and adding the Sophomore and Senior curriculum in year two, thereby fully implementing the four-year program over a two-year timeframe. While we want to encourage every school to participate in this curriculum, the discounted opportunity made possible by Boeing will only be available to the first fifteen (15) schools to sign up for the SystemsGo program.

SystemsGo was a recipient of The Boeing Company grant because our curriculum so closely maps to Boeing’s giving goals of “Bridging the gaps through community investments in STEM & 21st Century Skills.” The SystemsGo curriculum, in addition to being a high interest STEM program, is aligned to Next Generation Science Standards and intentionally trains 21st Century skills, as defined by the Partnership for 21st Century Learning Framework.
